Ben Goodchild is a partner in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Ben advises public and private companies and their boards on their most significant transactions, corporate governance and activist defense matters, both domestic and cross-border. He works across a range of industries including healthcare and life sciences, consumer products, energy, technology and sports and entertainment.

Ben has twice been named a "Dealmaker of the Year" by The American Lawyer, in 2026 for guiding Metsera through the bidding war that led to its $10 billion sale to Pfizer, and in 2025 for representing Endeavor Energy Resources in its $26 billion merger with Diamondback Energy. He has also been recognized among Bloomberg Law's "They've Got Next: 40 Under 40" (2025), named one of Lawdragon's "500 Leading Global Entertainment, Sports & Media Lawyers" (2025) and cited by The Legal 500 for his work in sports transactions (2026).
